In this image provided by NASA the mobile service tower on Launch Pad 17-B at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station has been rolled back to reveal the United Launch Alliance Delta II rocket ready to launch the Space Tracking and Surveillance System - Demonstrator into orbit Thursday Sept. 24, 2009. It is being launched by NASA for the Missile Defense System. The satellite is equipped with experimental sensors designed to detect, track and provide targeting information on missiles. The hour-long launch window opens at 8 a.m. EDT today.
